This is it...our backyard. We *are* the kool-aid house. I wonder why?
Greg built the treehouse a couple years ago. It got played with some...but never as much as this year. He replaced the rope ladder this year with something sturdier and now the kids are in there constantly.
Or in the helicopter. The helicopter is one of the great reasons to garage sale. WHERE would you find one otherwise? I bought it about 8 years ago at a yard sale for $10. It's a great way to earn quarters. haha! To watch the kids imaginations soar in there is AWESOME! We *will* take the helicopter with us. We plan to paint it. We've been talking about doing that for 8 years.
The sandbox. Another hours of fun way to spend time. *I* remember the games we played in the sandbox when I was a kid. Hours. Lots of them.
Clothes on the line. Yes...these are today's clothes already. Another one of Brian's blankets, work jeans, everything. I hang it all out on the line. Our next house will have a line too. *That's* a guarantee!
I'm feeling badly for leaving this behind, but I know we'll have just as much or more at the next house.
I also know that the new owners are going to have a bunch of broken hearted neighbor kids at their door when they realize that the only kid moving in is only 1 year old.
