I've been horridly lazy, sluggish and tired this week. A nap everyday for me, and to bed early. Exciting, huh?
Today I woke up rather late, but still in gear to go garage saling with the kids. The kids love it, I love it. I love it just a smidge more without the kids...but, well, ya gotta do what ya gotta do. And then I read the ads. I don't read the ads that often...I'm more of a drive my route and watch for signs type of garage saler....but it dawned on me that it's a holiday weekend.
There's not many garage sales. darn. Don't they know I'm finally feeling enough energy to try and go?
ah well. there's laundry and bills and counter cleaning to keep me busy.
I've been reading a ton this week as I slug around. This summer it's been all about Patricia Cornwell and Iris Johansen. Both murder and mayhem type, good page turners. I take about 5 books home a week from the library and breeze thru them all and restock the next week. I go thru major book withdrawal when I'm done...and in the midst of one, I can think of nothing else. Lazy lazy lazy summer.
But tomorrow we turn the page to July. There will be no more time for laziness. We have family weddings and trips and CHA and trips and stuff and stuff and stuff. I'm a little bit nervous about turning that calendar page. I'm reveling in one more day of laziness before things start hummin'.
Oh....and oatmeal in the raw is oatmeal straight oughta the Quaker Oats cylinder. Not cooked. raw. you know?
