I love comparing the difference of time passing as seen by kids and adults. Last night, for instance, the kids starting making a paper chain for an upcoming vacation. As we counted days - which is still quite many - lots of links - I actually thought, ohmygoodness...that's coming up quickly. The kids thoughts tho were more along the lines of, "ye' cats...this is a lot of links!" Photo coming soon. Soon - another word with a different definition depending on your age.
So. End of the month ramblings
That's where our vacation will be. Any sightseeing tips would be greatly enjoyed. We made our reservations quite awhile ago already - and we're actually staying outside of Branson by about 10 or so miles. The closest we've ever been to Branson is St. Louis. Pa Torm is excited because it's supposedly a heavy wood carving area according to the literature we've seen. I'm excited because, well....rest and relaxation is exciting to me.
Mark the lunk
One month visit - 12 pounds 10 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. No wonder my back is tempermental
I didn't end up going to the chiropracter on Monday as it actually felt better when I woke up. Instead, well.... *ehem.....* I walked a mile thru the snow pushing a stroller (I LOVE MY ZOOPER!) and carrying Mark in the Bjorn. And I'm still feeling good, so I do believe we'll do it again this morning and call it back strengthening. Or stupidity. But all three of us enjoy the outting...we're getting anxious for warmer weather.
After spending two full days last month going thru photos and ordering and pulling my hair out for the time consuming aspect of it all - I came up with a new plan. For the month of February, everytime I took pictures I copied my favorites into a file I named "order" I also have another file named "print at home" I like to send out my orders for the bulk of my snapshots...but I do still favor printing at home. Even moreso after my large order came in last month and the few photos that I had already printed at home were actually better quality then those printed elsewhere.
So...with my new organization system all I have to do today or tomorrow is drop my whole 'order' file into the online developer of my choice and order. Slick. No more going thru file after file after file after file. I.am.organized!
I love my printer. I've had it for nearly two years now....and I love it. It's big - looking at it now the span of the thing is the same as my monitor and tower combined, and the only place for it is on top of my roll top - but the thing kicks bootie. I was cruising around yesterday online and I happened to notice that there's a $50 rebate right now and free shipping if anyones in the market for a printer. Again..this thing is huge, but it also prints up to 13 x 19 right to the border. Way cool. Click here to be tempted
I'll be adding more of Pa Torms carving pictures to the album on the right sometime this week. The one he finished last night is a hoot, and was special ordered by his daughter so that she can give it to her teacher. Laughing girl has an odd sense of humor -you'll be amused.
And if anyone would like to order a carving, or make a request - feel free to email. Pa Torm has been doing special orders for the guys at work, and enjoys it.
Time to fly
The boys are both howling
And Laughing girl is complaining about the lack of socks. If you could see her room.........
I have this circle journal......
And I emailed Holly in my address book
Only...it was the wrong Holly, which made for some really interesting dialogue, and that Holly now has me on 'be very afraid'
And then I went back to the old haunt, only to find I no longer exist
which is scary...made me afraid
So...if you're out there...let me know....I have a journal to mail, and I want to make sure your address is the same.
Paljon Onnea Name Paiva - kinda late. And I was going to be so on the ball
