Wow. What a story!

I can't wait for the next installment!

woweeeee. i can believe you found it abandoned at a garage sale.

Thanks for sharing, Sharyn. People have fascinating lives.

What a treasure of a story. It would be so cool if a connection can be made by one of your readers. Looking forward to the next installment.

This is so interesting. It's said that you are only 6/7 people away from anyone...maybe this mystery person will be found through your blog.

Junkyard Jen

I'm hanging on every word! Can't wait for more. And she references stories for "another time". Oh would I love to know those stories too. She's a very good writer.

Fascinating indeed. Thanks for taking the ime to type it out for us to share :)

Some of the street names are familiar, I wonder if she lived in Detroit. Possible cause she mentions Dearborn.

This is such an interesting read! Surely if "Edith" is in heaven now, she's smiling knowing that her story fell into your kind hands. I can't wait to hear (in my best Paul Harvey impersonation) "the rest of the story..." Thanks for sharing!

That just takes my breath away. I'm so glad it was found by someone where it would be appreciated.

Loving this.

Jen H.

yipeeee!!! Thanks for sharing your morning and this story with us!

just catching up on my reading after a relaxing week at da camp and wow...I just can't believe that someone would've pitched that! How wonderful it would be for someone to take the time to fill another in on their family history...makes me wish I knew more about my dad's side. Hurry and write the rest, I'm impatient. :)
