It was this time of year, sixteen years ago, that I left the security of work, friends, family, etc.... and went to be a nanny in Finland for a year.
Sixteen years ago??? My goodness, it seems like it was just yesterday. Except, it couldn't have been because when I was there I took care of kids, but didn't have any of my own. And by the looks of things around this home, I apparently have a gaggle.
Anyway...I haven't written a whole lot about my trip to Finland and I thought it would be...
Oh. for. pete. I kid you not, a kid just leaked all over me. Okay...this story is going to have to wait for another time. I'm all wet, the kid is wet, another one's bawling and we're supposed to be out the door in an hour for another day of yard sales and stuff.
We'll just call this a teaser, eh?
Be good!

lol! Don't ya just hate when that happens?

Okay, Torm--you totally had me there. I was really eager to read about your time in Finland, and then--AHHHHHHHHHHH! I can definitely empathize. Have a happy day of yard saling! I'm eagerly awaiting your Finland stories!
