Pa took the kids to Sunday school. He had to return the company car on the way and it was with a chuckle and a ohmygoodness that I realized we don't all fit in the company vehicle or the jeep, for that matter.
So Brian slept in until 10am, which was lovely.
And then he woke up
He looks like he grew a bit in the night, eh?
And Markie...he did the stand up in the middle of the floor thing today. Three months ahead of any of our others. Overachiever.
What else went on around here?
Miss W brought home a friend after church
and Allan did not, which was a good thing because a peek thru his binder found that he has a very large project due. On Wednesday. A project that I would not have known about had I not glanced in his binder. grr. So Allan did homework all day.
Brian created art
And Pa took pictures of his
speaking of pictures...I had some fun with my new printer today. She's very fun. I call her Hilla. I once knew a little girl named Hilla and she always made me smile...she once told me a sassy little ditty, "Silma silma nena suu..." and well, I guess you'd kinda have to understand Finn to get it
and then..just for fun, we drove to town and I brought along my other new friend, my new lens. Guess which one? I was jigging as much as one can with a pinched sciatic nerve when I realized I could take pictures of both sides of the street at the same time. I mean, is that cool, or what? Heidi, your family is going to look SO good in this lens. I'm getting excited!
And because it was like 89 degrees today, we and everyone else in town decided to top of the day with some ice cream. The fam went in and ordered while I played with my new toy. I was jiggin' again when I realized I could take a picture of the entire DQ when I was standing right in front of it. Seriously....that's cool. And so was my hot fudge sundae
And this is where we like to eat our DQ's. I was itching to try a lay down shot, but that darn nerve. It was doing fine for a couple days and went and got wangled again sometime this afternoon. It's less than pleasant.
But my new lens made me forget about it for a few moments. I'm hoping the other lens shows up tomorrow
be good!

I.am.so totally jealous of your new lens. (In a good way. Or is that bad that I want one?!) Lol. ;) Have fun with that one!
I was looking at that little guy that Pa Torm made and wondering what he was in the first picture. By the second one, I was like, "Oh no, don't tell me..." By the third, "...it's a tape dispenser!!" That is so cool. I just love the character in his carvings.

A tape dispenser! I wouldn't have figured that out - I thought it was Greg with his nose to the grindstone.
