I love the 85! That one and the 50 are my favorites by far. I posted some pics that I took the over last few days with my 85 just so you can see what it is capable of. Just saying... :) You won't be sorry you bought it.

We love our wide-angle...I think you'll be surprised at how many uses you find for it. High fives to you for doing this - you deserve it!

I have those two exact lenses. In fact, they are pretty much all I use. I love, love, love the canon 85 mm and I really, really like the Tamron. It's not as crisp as the canon...but it is a good wide angle...for large groups and such...a real bargain for the price.
