13 year old: WHY are you calling that dog "Fisher Price" (said exactly as you would imagine a 13 year old brother talking to his 7 year old sister)7 year old: Hello! Because - that's what it says on his dog collar (as in - Duh!)there you have it.

Oh, I have a 12 year old and a 6 year old. I can totally just hear the TONE of both of their voices!

Oh My Goodness. I never comment but always lurk but this requires a comment. I had a full on belly laugh reading this because we have had similar conversations in our house. Granted it was a few years ago. Mine are 26(DS) and 23(DD). Here is one such conversation
DD (about 11yrs): What's after eight?
DS (about 14yrs): What? (with disgust)
DD: What is after eight?
DS: NINE! (said with more disgust)
DD: No, in the freezer!
DS: Those are candies you morron! (as a loving brother)
Well the whole family died laughing at this one and we still tell it at gatherings.
