Over the weekend, I scrapbooked another two page layout.
True story: It's actually harder to photograph/scan a two pager than it is to create one. This is fact. And the realness of the fact became even more evident to me yesterday when I tried to photograph this particular layout.
For two pagers - you see - I like to tape them on the wall. But I lack wall space in this house, and if I tape it outside to the doorwall (as I've been known to do) I often get shadows.
It was last year that I found the perfect spot (or so I thought) was actually on the sliding door of the laundry room.

Sharyn Laakso Tormanen is having a serious *oh crap* moment. I was just about to photograph a layout that's set to go online tomorrow and it fell between the wall and the sliding door. BEFORE I photographed it. Off to find tweezers. a flashlight. a ruler. long skinny fingers........ crap crap crapYeah. It was like that. Talk about a heart rate increaser!
If you look Real closely at the upper right corner on the left hand side you can see that it's a little more 'rugged' than the rest of the page. I ended up finally getting that layout out with a long ruler and mounting tape. Tweezers didn't fit. And boy, were there the dustballs back there.
Perilous, I tell you.
