Pa and I went to a costume party a few weeks ago. Isn't he smashing? I was a little bummed tho that he didn't have his tie on yet in this photo
See what a difference the tie makes? Sweet bow tie that he inherited from his papa's top drawer
He was so smashing that Miriam (she's on the left) couldn't resist following him up the stairs half way through the party. True story.
We then sang a lovely rendition of happy birthday to this old guy and all was good.
These pictures are from a couple weeks ago already, but I realized I hadn't shared them and they seemed fitting for Halloween, for some reason (especially since I just woke up and am too lazy to upload last nights carving photos)
I held Mark, our fourth and last kid down with the bug, from 7:15 am to 6pm yesterday taking only three quick breaks - one to make Wendy's lunch, another to make my lunch, and the 3rd to get Wendy from school. It was a day. He latched onto dad for a few hours, but then grabbed me again at bedtime and slept on me all night long. When I thought he was soundly sleeping I tried crawling out from under him - but his monkey arms latched onto me in the last second.
He seems to be doing better this morning, but he won't be trick or treating.
Wendy starts soccer today
The weather is *meh* but at least the wind has died down
My list is miles long
Life rattles on........
May all your trick or treat candy come from non-germ infested homes........
