Friday was the annual Winterfest at the elementary. The journaling talks about how I snuck out of the house without the kindergartener and I only felt mildly guilty. My guilt was on the back burner all weekend. It was a pleasant change.
It goes on to say that I don't know why I bothered even going since Wendy just wanted to walk around with friends and I was pretty much left with another mom in the same position visiting in the library.
BUT!
After 11 long winterfests of entering the raffle basket drawing - I won one! It was pretty fun when they called my name for the gift wrapping basket. My neighbor lady nudged me and said, "How are you going to get that home?" since her and I both walk. We really laughed though when her son won the way too big to carry sports basket. I was able to carry mine and walk home - but she ended up having to find a ride.

I love your page thanks for sharing I am really enjoying seeing what everyone has created and it makes the days not seem to go by so fast because I have a record of each of them.
