We had a few different ideas for Brian's valentines, but I was having a tricky time finding ingredients for a few of them - so in the end, we just went with whatever I found the stuff for first.
And truthfully - we never did manage to find the Valentine Tootsie Pops and we had checked several stores, so we just went with everyday Tootsie Pops.
We turned them into Tootsie Pop Bombs
We used black tissue paper
red glittery pipe cleaners
red cardstock
and a hole punch
I typed up the sentiment on the computer and then just made little tags from them. While I typed up Brian's name, I had him write each of the kids names because I think it helps add that personal touch and helps him work on his printing.
We wrapped the sucker in black tissue, popped the tag over the stick - having it go over the tissue, then wound the pipe cleaner. Easy and quick.
And fun.
That's an awesome idea! I'm still trying to come up with something over here! Wonder if they have black tissue paper at the PX? :)
