This week was a quieter one.
No pictures of dad, no pictures of the teenager, and I used four slots for Sunday's shower since I had room. No extra inserts.
I enjoy the quiet weeks now and then. They end the end of March every single year.
I'll be piling up the inserts then.
I was in the mood to play with corners this week. I used a square punch, and then cut the squares in half - adding scallops to some of them (but not the ones that had my boys in them. I know my boys - they'd go in and cut them off)
A finished quilt, the dog who helped, a shower invitation, a picture from the shower and a little boy who I'm constantly trying to keep busy.
And a few quotes and conversations from the week. I'll usually scroll through my facebook statuses for the week and jot a few down that I'd like to remember.
A sunset, this week's sick kid, uncle George on the guitar, a sleeping boy playing Angry Birds, bubbles in February and a few shower guests.
I used my arrows from my This One by Ali Edwards stamp set - stamping onto patterned paper, and then jotting their names onto the arrows. While I know their names now, I might have forgotten by the time I haul this album to the old folk's home with me.
-----
This week will be a little busier
- Greg gets home this afternoon
- Wendy has an appointment to fix something on her braces
- Wendy has fifth grade camp - which now just means two days at the local Nature Center and no overnights
- Valentine creating
- story hour
- hoping to make progress on that new kitchen valance.
- Happy Monday!

Ah! Journaling on photo corners?! Great idea!
