My mind is running 200 mph these days - in so many directions, so many ideas, so many things I want to do, so many things I HAVE to do.
I wonder - why with all four kids in school, do I still not have enough hours in the day?
In the oft' spoke words of my five year old - "I've been cheated"
I can't even imagine what bored is. I just can't.
The current project at the forefront of my mind has to do with the above photo. Three shirts - all three purchased at Salvation Army on Saturday as part of their 7/$5 if it has a purple tag sale. Aren't those colors DELICIOUS together? I just smile everytime I walk past them.
I'm picturing making a combination of this and this with them - and if I still have extra, I want to make a little belt pouch bag for my cell phone and keys. That's my plan. I had hoped to get to it yesterday - but laundry won the day. Today I'm all tied up - been up since 5:30 - three loads on the line already - stew in the crockpot and lists for kids on the table.
Then again - I have that wedding to get ready to travel for....
Did I mention Brian got off the waiting list and onto a soccer team? We found out Friday right before we left for Frankenmuth. He practiced Saturday morning. This week we'll get him the right shoes. He's thrilled.
He has decided to drop out of Cub Scouts. We're okay with that. He made up his own mind already at the beginning of summer and hasn't waivered from it. I'm okay with it mostly because it will be hard to keep up with the schedule this year. The rule is though that they must do/participate in something over the year. He likes soccer. Much improvement and confidence over last year already. fun.
And I have been ballooning the last couple nights. My friend Julie accompanied me again last night but I didn't get many pictures/haven't had time to look through them closely - and I've been sworn to secrecy about last night's adventure....so here's Jerry and George instead.
It's all good.
It's always fun.
Even when you get lasagna dropped on your head. But that's another story....
