Happy Tenth of the month again and welcome to this month's Studio AE Blog Hop!
This month we're playing with December Joys. I decided to get a head start on my December Daily album, but I also have to add that what I love about this set is that there are several stamps that I can use year round. The Most wonderful time of the year - well, for me right now, wow the fall colors are beautiful this year. I'll totally be using that on a fall layout soon. Both of the memories stamps are individual as well, as is fantastic. So this set really goes the extra mile.
But for this project - my December Daily album prep. I'm falling a little bit behind right now on my Project Life, so the more prepping I do ahead of time, the more apt I am to keep up/complete.
The most wonderful stamp is stamped with my Tuxedo Black Dye Ink Memento and colored with my YG03 Copic Ciao.
I have to confess that I've never used a clear album before. I've had this in my hoard pile for a few years and the company that made it no longer exists. I took of the coil it came with and put the red on one. I still need to add a few pages so there are enough for ever day, and I'll more than likely add a few other things throughout the month, so the coil makes this easy.
As I'm preparing it, I'm also visualizing exactly where the photo will go and what you will or will not see through the clear pages. I can't help it, it's just how my brain works. for this page I wrapped the pendant banner right around both sides of the page. It made it easy to disguise any adhesive, and it will easy work as a design element on both sides.
I also enjoyed putting a lot of the new Story Cards into play. On this page I'm picturing that I'll put the photo horizontally, leaving just a bit of the 'I want to remember' card showing. This could change, but I do tend to visualize during the planning.
For me, this is a good start. I'll add a few more pages, continue with the theme throughout the book, and add my numbers.

Love your Dec. Daily album and the clear pages. I've made one clear album and there's so much "thinking" involved for the pages to look good from both sides. Not sure I'd be able to do that in December.

What a fun December Daily book! I love the optical illusion that you created with the clear page where the journaling card looks like it was lengthened on the inside cover, but then it lifts up and is part of the other page. :)
