I had a little fun with the house - stamped it so it opened up like a little card on it's own, and included an extra heart inside. Love the options. Papers are mostly from the Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic line.
So - as for my October wrap up?
Ha. October was busy. This is what I remember - costumes, wig hair everywhere, parties, more costumes, more wig hair, cold, wind, rain, costumes, wigs, parties, rain, wind, and lots of giggling as someone turned 12.
'Bout sums it up.
As for November - it started out busy. I spent the last two days at my dad's house, which would be why I'm a little bit behind on blog posts. It is what it is. I enjoyed meeting a friend for lunch yesterday that I wouldn't have done if I'd not been at my dad's - so it's all about just making the best of things. And being thankful that the sick kid was able to stay home alone and I didn't have to juggle that. Ah yes - we have our first bug of the season (headache, bellyache, frequent trips to the bathroom....seems fine today though) (but...Holla! We did make it through October, and for us - that is milestone)
So - November hopes and goals
- Hope - take the kid's annual photos. I'm not making this a goal because I'm half tempted to take the year off.
- Hope - take a Christmas card photo. I'm not making this a goal because I'm half tempted to take the year off.
- Hope - Ballooning. Fingers crossed major.
- Goal - Christmas shopping
- Goal - 10,000 steps per day
- Hope - Start working. Seriously - longest process ever. I'm approved, but for some reason am not in the system yet and can't start working until I am. Still waiting on one more email - lots of people working on it.
- Happening - voting
- Goal - survive these last few days of nonstop politcal calls (political and charity calls are exempt from the do not call list. I wonder - if you vote absentee or vote early - do the phone calls stop????)
- Goal - hair cuts
- Goal - sell a few more things
- Goal - get the holiday gifts made that I plan to make.
- Hope - to keep my sanity
- Happening - more travel in husband's schedule
- Hope - to keep my sanity
- Goal - Sign kids up for the sports/activities they are talking about
- Goal - get to Meijers before noon today
- Goal - 10 layouts this month
- Goal - some photo books
- Goal - catch up on Project Life
- Hope - to keep my sanity
That should do it.
At my table right now - two little boys in their pj's - drawing......Christmas Trees!!!??
and - ha ha ha - we're so funny and clever.
