It was a week or so ago when my husband and I were trying to remember what we did last year for Thanksgiving, and for the life of us - where we had dinner or with who just wouldn't come to us. So I looked for the answer on my blog. Ha. We had dinner here last year - and it was a houseful. How about that?
So while I was feeling lazy this morning and tempted to leave my camera behind, I decided to bring it anyway. The memory depends on it.
So. This year. We went to my brother's house for 1:00 dinner. We being myself and three kids. Greg and Mark stayed home with sniffles and coughs. We just couldn't risk spreading any bugs to my side of the family right now. (Greg's was bad enough that he hadn't slept two nights for it)
Everyone had to grab something from the wayback before going to the door. Chocolate Eclair Cake, Cookies, Green Bean Casserole, Milk and Pistachios.
I think the only one that I missed in my pictures is my mom, and you can only see a bit of my niece Elizabeth in this one.
The kids played Bingo. Allan doesn't have any cousins his age, but has always played well with the littles.
Although Rebecca wasn't too pleased with him when he crawled in the house she made. We helped her rebuild.
Jodi planned for the kids to make ornaments. It kept them busy for quite awhile.
Pete and Allan didn't make ornaments, but Allan taught Pete how to draw an upside down guy.
Right Side Up.
Upside Down.
Jodi and Shannon caught on to Brian's very careful and precise nature.
And my three brothers. (I also have a sister, Terri - she lives in North Carolina) Brian, Dennis and Kevin.
I came home with the kids at about 6 with intentions of going to evening church, but somehow fell asleep hard on the couch.
As for shopping? Not my bag. There is ONE store I may hit tomorrow - a local non-chain store. If I really get ambitious I might hit Jo-Anns. On Saturday. I'm much more comfortable and in my element checking online sales.
Wendy, however, has a long list - and found a fun auntie and cousin to go with. Perfect. We'll leave the door unlocked for her.

I love the brothers shot!

Me too! Rarely see the three of them in one spot. Good job, sharyn, to get it on record. And the wayback description. Ha ha. the big blue woody wagon. :)

Oh, poor Brian - is that his sparse attempt at Movember?
