Vacation week doesn't equate to relax week. The kids and I have been keeping busy. We knocked the farm off our list one day, and the next day we knocked skating off the list. Both of the little boys had gotten skates for Christmas so now the goal is to rink hop as much as possible to get them comfortable skating. We drove by the lake yesterday to see if that had frozen over yet, but there's still a little way to go. The ten day forecast shows that a complete freeze is possible real soon. Our back yard is too hilly to put a rink in, but I contemplate making one in the front yard. With a no puck rule - too close to my windows. Maybe next year.
Yesterday we layed low - went to church and then relaxed at home for most of the day. I caught up on the dishes while Uncle George took a long birthday nap on our couch. We then combined some visiting with picking up Wendy later in the evening.
Today we might go shopping. Or sledding. Or nothing at all.
But first we should probably get dressed. All in due time.
