I was wondering for a bit if there'd be school today what with the weather reports and end of world reports, but the oldest two just made their way out the door. I waved.
Not sure Rudolph will make it all the way to school, but I did my part. I was up until 2 this morning getting everything together for this last day of school. Teacher's gifts - check, Rudolph bun pieces - check, other gifts - check. Homework and reading slips - oh yeah, that too - check. Greg got his chili ready for the company potluck - check. I submitted my dad's obituary.
I'm going to take a nap this morning.
Yesterday I survived gingerbread house making with the kindergarten class, Pictures? Nope. It was pouring rain and we're walkers. Didn't dare bring the camera. I'll try and remember to take a picture of his house this morning.
Even the tooth fairy remembered to come last night. She didn't dare not - she had to hit three pillows in one night. If you're keeping a tally - we're down 8 teeth in one week over here:
Allan - four wisdom teeth pulled last Friday.
Wendy - a molar, sometime between Monday and Thursday
Brian - an eye tooth - Wednesday
Mark - his two bottom front teeth - one last Friday, the second last night.
It's an in house record. My blog hits/comments from dentists should really peak now.
----
I'm tired. Like, really really really tired.
One more event to attend today - an afternoon holiday performance from Brian's class. And I suppose I should try to find the little boy's boots - we woke up to white. Brian is going to squeeeeeee when he wakes up.
My link chain is one longer than the little boy's chains. I'm counting to the 26th.
That's when I'm going to crash.
I think I can
I think I can
I think I can.....

Cute bun!

Wendy's hair is too cute! That's a lot of teeth in one week. The tooth fairy over here is baaad. 3 pillows in one night would make me remember though! I'm so sorry you are so tired. I've been keeping you in my prayers. I hope you get a really nice nap this morning and on the 26th! I wish we could just sit and have a cup of coffee.

I read all the time and rarely comment, as I'm sure you know. Keeping you in my prayers. You need some rest, hope you got that nap in.
I agree! I like Christmas and all but I'm so looking forward to the 26th. It'll mean another WHOLE week off from school with no rushing to do. THAT is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Stay home, stay warm and relax.
