Yesterday I worked another lunch shift - then quick ran home and ate (inhaled), dropped off my scissors and whistle, picked up my camera and headed right back up the hill for the practice concert. The real concert is tonight, but only one of us can make it to that and by default, it ends up being the husband.
It was fun to attend the relaxed and less crowded version for once. Programs are always fun.
Greg made it to his carving party/exchange last night and I was able to make a batch of puppy chow for the kids and fake them into thinking it was a good attempt at holiday baking.
As for today - Allan gets his wisdom teeth out this morning. We could have taken the 7am appointment which I would have preferred, but the whole challenge of how to get the boys to school, etc has been one that I've had enough this year as it is. He's got a 10:00 appointment. It'll be good. I just have to watch him closely to make sure he doesn't chug a glass of water before we go out of habit. (no eating/drinking for six hours prior)
That hopefully gives me a couple hours this afternoon to catch up on some laundry, dig out the shirt I bought for Brian to wear to the concert tonight (hope it fits) and go from there.
Tonight I'll head back to dads. The two day gaps between visits feel long.
And that's the Friday plan.
One foot in front of the other....
