...that this is merely another tactic she's using, hoping to get me to agree to a cell phone long before she needs one. Mind you, when she does get a cell phone (not in the foreseeable future) it'll come attached with the same 18 point agreement that this smart mom created.

The geek t-shirts were part of a library promotion/campaign. You could get custom ones made (ie: I geek ballooning or woodcarving....etc) - but they had some on hand today for sale. Wendy came home with this one.
We made our girls wait until 7th grade. I don't see Parker really "needing" a phone even next year (when he is in 7th). So many of his friends have iphones! Really? For a sixth grader??? Not that I'm judging...but I certainly don't want to pay the data charge.
