this morning i worked a few hours and then ran over and got a haircut. i went short. i like it.
then i went back to work, worked for a few hours and then cut my finger - took a raisin size chunk right off. i don't much like it. (it took me a second after seeing the chunk on the mat to realize what it was)
it was decided that i should be taken to ready care despite all my - i don't want to be a bother talk. probably a good thing, since it took them awhile to get the bleeding to stop too. i asked what happens/what do i do when it bleeds thru the dressing. they said, oh - it won't. i pointed out that it already had. they redid it
(sorry about no caps - hard to type one handed)
stopped back at work to fill out an incident report - with my newly wrapped altered digit high in the air and one guy (i don"t know all their names yet - but suddenly they all know me) says, oh no - YOU'RE not number one, I'M number one.
ha.
i can't work with my left hand for two days, and i have to go back to readycare on thursday to have them take off the dressing and recheck it.
such a bother.
i called my woodcarver husband and told him i'm trying to even the tally.
but hey - like my haircut?

Super cute hair. I'm going short next time as well. Sorry about the finger -- those cuts tend to be inconvenient for the momma.

you know, just because you cut your hair doesn't mean you need a finger to match!

Love the new "do" but the thought of lopping of a chunk of your finger gives me the heebie jeebies

Love the haircut. Too bad about the finger. I can't tell you how many times I've had to get stitches for a finger cut. Let's just say the bright side is, your tetanus shot is always up-to-date! Hope it's not throbbing and it heals quickly.

Yikes! Hard to do lots of things with only one hand.. unfortunately I know from experience! Darling haircut. At least that should be easy to take care of with one hand...

I do like it!
Mark (my boss) asked me how far you live from here. ;) he was pretty proud of his 'worth the drive' comment.
Please. Eew. Sorry, pointer finger.

Love the haircut! Kids will have no excuse not to notice that finger wagging in their direction now! Heal quickly!

I concur that your haircut is very cute indeed. Slicing and dicing a finger howsomever does not register very high on my fun meter even if it meant time off work.

sorry about the gash, and please pardon my comment but.... glad it wasn't the middle one.
