- When Wendy and I went shopping on Saturday, she picked up 10 yards of tulle to make herself a tutu. She got it all put together Tuesday evening. I still have to take a completed photo.
- She got her hair cut on Tuesday too. She has bangs again. Two days later and I'm still not used to seeing her with bangs. I still have to take a photo. (sorry, mom)
- We're supposed to get hit with some snow tonight/tomorrow morning. I'd normally be thrilled, but I'm all stressed because I have an 8:30 appointment 40 minutes from home.
- I work again today. Third day this week. *pumps fist*
- They asked me this week if I'd consider working at the school full-time. I replied, not yet - but keep me posted if the opportunity comes up again. I'm easing into this working thing - right now I like my flexibility.
- We brought the Jeep into the shop last night. Hopefully the heat will be working on it again by this evening.
- I went to the meeting last night regarding the switching of the border lines for our city's two middle schools. We fall in the switching territory. My take on it so far is that they didn't adequately inform those that fall in the areas under consideration that they may be impacted. Many of my neighbors had no idea. The meeting wasn't very well attended.
- For now - Wendy will stay at her current middle school - the change is more for the up and coming, with the change being optional for those already enrolled. Siblings of those already enrolled can attend the same middle school as their sisters/brothers.
- I was finally able to wash my finger wound today. Nine days later. Still sensitive if I bump it, but overall much better and totally usable.
- I cleaned Wendy's room on Monday - stuffed several large garbage bags full before the garbage man came through. Yesterday I did the boys room - sorted Legos, K'nex, Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs - threw out one huge bag of trash before they got home from school. Felt good.
- This year is flying.
- Time for me to tackle my day.
