- Brian tried wrapping her up in one of his famous monkey hugs while telling her that it would really be better to just wait until summer to travel back north - but she left anyway.
- She was going to leave yesterday, but the travel weather was too crummy...and then she was going to leave on Thursday - but she was afraid I was going to make her drink more of my apple cider vinegar concoctions if she stayed one more day (and I would have...she was right)
- We all have the seasonal head colds. Blah.
- Today I'll make lists - I'm feeling a little overwhelmed when I look ahead to what is on our schedule for this month and the next few.
- Greg woke up at 4:30 for work today. He's been getting home from work near 8:00 most nights. We've become ships passing in the night again.
- Today I have my ankle wrapped in a support. Strangest thing EVER - I was scrubbing potatoes at the sink yesterday and all of a sudden I couldn't put ANY weight on my left foot. Could NOT walk. I had to send a big kid out to get the boys from school. I could just imagine telling the doctor that seriously - all I was doing was scrubbing spuds! Meanwhile, my mom got quite a kick out of it because apparently I'm the same age now as she was when she woke up one morning to find that she had fractured her ankle while sleeping. ????? What in the world?? That would be some weird genetics. Hers was a spiral fracture. I've not gone in for mine - I put my feet up last evening, used some oils on it - have it in a support now and am able to walk, although a little bit hesitantly. I'll give it a few days and see if it happens again. Odd.
- The sun is shining today, looks lovely with the fresh layer of snow we got last night.
- Off to enjoy it with some list making and Calvin ball catching upping before my lunch shift at the elementary.
