Those who know me, know how much I love routine.
I find myself anxious and excited to make a stab at getting some again now that school has started. My hope would be that I could get to the gym each morning before work, but unfortunately between my schedule being bumped up 15 minutes combined with the construction that can easily tack a half hour onto my tight timeline - that's not doable. I'll try when construction is done.
This morning was beautiful, so I took the opportunity to get my walk in.
7,000 steps later a glance at the clock tells me I have time for a quick blog post, a shower, a bite to eat and then off to school I go.
All the kids did well at school yesterday,
Brian said it was great - he loves his teacher.
Wendy has friends in all her classes and hopped on the right bus in the morning (three kids hopped on the wrong bus)
Mark said it was okay, which for him - is awesome.
My first day was a bit hectic being that we switched up the whole lunch routine so we had to train all the kids, not just the kindergarteners - but it should be routine by next week.
I canceled last night's appointment, and that was definitely the right choice. The kids were in need of some downtime after the first day of school and bedtime came early.
Allan had another interview yesterday and another job possibility pop up at the same time. Fingers crossed that he lands something soon.
Greg made it to Chicago fine and is working very long hours. His dogs are aching.
Brian will get the lift for his shoe tomorrow - I'm anxious to see the change in his posture and pains.
It's looking to be a beautiful night for ballooning.....
That's all I have time for right now....I'm still a few posts in debt. They'll come....
