The temperature went from kayaking and swimming on Friday, to digging out the hoodies and the blue jeans today.
I'm avoiding turning the furnace back on and hoping that putting meatloaf and baked potatoes in the oven and watermelon in the dehydrator will be enough to keep the temperature from getting too chill in here.
As for this morning, we had a lazy one here today. I slept two hours later than I've slept in a long time - and Mark was the last one up at 9:30 which completely baffled even him. I decided that we'd stay home this morning so that we could enjoy our dad for a little bit longer before he left just after 11am to go catch his flight to North Carolina. Gone again - hopes to be home on Thursday and it's unknown yet if he'll be home for the weekend.
Time will tell. We enjoyed our morning.
Uncle George skipped by after church, and Mark asked, "so....wanna play some music?" and then handed him his guitar, and he did.
I gave him a challenge - to see if he could play through a song without checking his texts. At the same time, I realized I'd never tested out the video capabilities of my newest camera. Results below of both the challenge and the camera:
