.... Mark and I went snowshoeing after school/work. The snow isn't deep and we didn't go long, but I loved it.
A funny from kindergarten today where I was working with some girls at Center D. The center involved some drawing, and with their drawing - the girl's imaginations began to soar. One young friend told me about a planned adventure complete with hand gestures, bright eyes and a whole lot of enthusiasm: ...and me and B----- and B------ are going to go on an adventure and YOU can come to Mrs. T!!! Because (duh) SOMEONE has to lead us!
Me: And where are we going?
Girls: We're going to the forest to find a unicorn that we can keep for a HUNDRED YEARS!!
Another funny from today. I was in the cafeteria with our principal, our superintendent and our student services advisor after having taken our PBIS poster award photo. A second grader (my lunch group) came in to pass out birthday cupcakes to the four of us. When he got to me, he looked at me dead on and in all seriousness told me, "You can only take one"
Mark and I picked up Panera and went to my mom's and Meijer after our adventure into the forest.
Now I'm about ten minutes away from crawling under the covers.
