It was nice enough this weekend that the boys were able to practice in the backyard without their jackets on.
Brian is on the middle school team [he missed his first competition due to the virus he caught - but is signed up for an optional competition this coming weekend]. While doing laundry, I was enjoying watching them out the window. Brian, with his hands on Mark's back, was correcting his posture and form. I stood there for a moment, and just soaked it in.
Mark came in a little earlier than Brian, sharing, quite honestly: I might be a champion but I have a bad bow so we don't know.
As for me - I had to force myself to get out of the house and take a walk in the sunshine. I tend to get a little deep in a project once a start and fall into the one more, one more, one more minute/page/picture trap. I spent hours and hours this weekend on yearbook, and I loved every minute of it.
There was a moment when I thought I might well go the whole day without even hitting 1,000 steps - but I did realize the health benefits of taking a break and getting out and taking a walk in the sunshine.
This next week is a busier one. I believe Greg [who enjoyed the Auto Show yesterday - first time in many years] has some more travel coming up.
Brian has archery.
We have tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters.
I have a long list of photos to take and organize and I've made a list of lists I need to make. :)
Enjoy that sunshine.
