And another item checked of MY summer manifesto.
This one has had NO interest in learning how to ride a bike for his own pleasure and has been content to chase with a scooter or just stay home.
Once he realized that his not learning was holding other people back (we won't let Brian bike any further without a partner), well - that was finally spurred him into action. He's a guilt ridden soul like his mother. Poor thing. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders when he thinks he's doing something wrong, and his biggest worries are that someone might be upset with him.
So that's what it took. He learned in one day and is now cruising around the block. I think he likes it more than he thought he would. Now I just have to figure out how to load up the bikes for camping.
And I got it into my book.
I'm keeping up on it and I'm enjoying it by keeping it simple.
