My email was up long enough for me to read an email that someone was looking for this recipe, and that the link from my original post was broken. I tried to find it online, and none of the ones I'm finding are quite the same.
So - since I can't respond directly to the email right now (this is getting old fast) I'll type the recipe here. A family favorite. Love this cookie.
Cranberry Chip Cookie
Recipe by Best of Country Cookies
1/2 Cup butter or margarine - softened
1/2 Cup Shortening
3/4 Cup Sugar
3/4 Cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2-1/4 Cups Flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 Cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 Cup Vanilla chips
1 Cup dried cranberries
1 Cup Chopped Pecans
In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugars. Add eggs, one a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in the vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
Stir in the chips, cranberries and nuts.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
