What a great read.

You have inspired me to do something that I've been meaning to for a while. Maybe I'll make it my winter project. I'd like to visit all of the elderly people from Fulton church and as I'm there, take some portraits. My dad used to do this. What treasures they become.

That is really shivery...

ahhhhhh. i had a neighbor like that growing up too.
mr bill. lived in a yellow house too (shiver), five doors down from me. we weren't really ever turned away, but his wife did clip a little note to the mailbox when he was napping so we wouldn't wake him with our pounding on the door to visit. the thing i remember most is the dollhouse they built that swallowed up their livingroom table.

ok, so i am weird...i love moments like that - the ones that send tingles up your spine...it makes me feel like there is so much more out there than just our little earthbound world....

Oh my gosh. I'm shivering. I love that kind of stuff. Too coincidental! Too cool. Fun to read about your memories.

Great story.
