I hope you get a good night's rest in, Sharyn. I haven't read the other comments but I just picked up a VTech laptop on sale at Target for under $15 for Shannon's 3rd birthday and she and her brother can hardly leave it be....but it can be kinda loud. Just a suggestion. Take care!

Poor little guy! I also broke my femur, but (THANK GOD), I never had to wear one of those casts! I'll try to think of some fun things to do with him while he is recovering. :) Hang in there!!

Oh, my heart just aches for that little guy. I do have to laugh though that they had to write "do not life" on the bar, as if you were going to use it as a handy handle to carry him around. LOL

Ah, bless you Sharyn. Sending prayers for subdued children, quick healing and many freezer meals. Baring that, I wish you much patience and calmness. May God give you strength and peace.

Pat

Oh My Goodness. I stepped away from blogging a few days and come back to find this... This seems to happen more often than not when "Monkeys" jump on things they shouldn't. I hope that little B is doing okay as well as the rest of the gang. thinking of you and am sending a little something for the little man this weekend.
Hugs

(((HUGS))) don't forget: it's okay to accept help. and take care of yourself too my friend.

Judy

Awww...poor little guy. Hang in there and you and "Pa" don't forget to take care of yourselves.

Amy Loukus

Poor little boy. it is said that we are not given more than we can handle, but it sure seems like you are being tested. So I pray for your patience and strength. Hopefully these next weeks will find your other kids healthy, and Brain content to stay on the couch. hugs from the UP.

Katie

Poor boy... Hopefully you can all adjust to the changes around there until the cast is off. If you do tip the couch to use as a crib, that would be a perfect spot for puppet shows. Another easy form of entertainment!

Terri

Oh my goodness... How much crying have you done? This just makes me wanna bawl -- feeling sorry for him, for you, for Wendy (she won't likely forget that she was involved in this), for the tough road ahead of your entire lot. :(

Amy

Logged on first thing this morning to read an update. It brings tears to my eyes to see him in bed like this, but be encouraged that he will heal quickly! God bless you and be with you and your family, Torm!

Ally

Omgosh Sharyn! I had no idea - I've been sitting around whining about having the flu and here you've been dealing with sick self, kids, hospitals, weather and now THIS! Omgoodness woman. I'm sending you thoughts and prayers for superwoman vibes and strength!

I can't stop thinking about you guys. I get choked up when I think of what you're going through. So tough... And, look at that sweet little man...poor baby... Wishing you lots of strength during the coming weeks and praying for Brian to adjust well to his cast, and brief, but long for a three year old, lifestyle...

I hope you can get some rest now...

Amy Coose

That poor sweet boy! And that poor sweet mama! I hope that he is home soon, and that his recovery is as swift as it can be. How about getting him some sticker books? The leapster will be a great way for him to pass the time. Let me know if you need anything!

elizabeth

I keep thinking about you guys. I hope you're able to get a good night's sleep so are ready to bring him home.

And I hate to laugh, but cannot help it at that sign. Would someone really use it to lift a kid up?

Emily Dennis

oh my goodness!! I just checked in...

Poor little guy. He's about Cale's age so I couldn't imagine going through this. I'll be thinking about you guys..

I broke both my tib and fib clean through when I was about 14. But that's a little easier to understand than when you are 3. It was a complete year to fully recover. He will bounce back fast I'm sure... (oops, maybe I shouldn't have said "bounce")

Summer

Just got you guys on my mind. Sending love and prayers for healing and help.

Paola

Poor little thing! PT your way!

Debbi T
