So. Let's discuss the polls.
I had a few this past week or so. In the first one, I learned that 69.4% of you come here for the stories - and another 20.7 percent come here to find out if I'm going to lose my bottoms, again, in some embarrassing fashion anytime soon. I just may not tell you if that ever happens again, but I probably will.
In this current poll I learned that 69.7% of you know me by way of the scrapbooking world.
Now - the part that has kept me up at nights, besides the fact that the polls also told me I have several mothers, is the fact that only one ONE of you comes here for my layouts and cards. Not even one percent - but one single person. Oh wait....take heart - I see now that it's two people!
Now - I can analyze this in several ways. 1. The scrapbookers already know where to find my layouts and cards online, therefore...the stories were the obvious answer. or 2. You still want to see my layouts and cards but you want to hear the stories behind them.
I have decided that is certainly what you all meant, for how could it be otherwise?
Now. There's a joke up at Technique Tuesday headquarters about how they can never ever under any circumstances give me assignments using the sets Calamity Jane Capital Letters - Large or Calamity Jane Lowercase Letters - Large. My brain simply can't process doing an assignment with these two sets. It's hard for me - because I love what others do with them, I love the look on other people's layouts - but there is a skip in my brain that needs for my titles and words to all have matching letters. I've tried to fight it, but I can't - I end up tossing my layout in the trash and redoing it with something much more familiar and me, like Main Street and then I instantly feel better and can breathe normally again.
So, when Technique Tuesday then came out with Large and Extra Large in the Calamity Jane font, you can just imagine Eileen's suprise when I declared, I Need Those.
And I've used them several times already - as shown above here. And they've become my favorite number set.
But the letters? Those are being packaged up and mailed to a friend who can actually really and truly use them - I've admitted complete and total defeat.
So am I right? It was the story with or behind the layout that you really come here for, eh?
be good
YES, the story behind the layout! Even your stores without layouts or cards....and YES, I know where to look for your layouts and cards. LOVE all your photos!
So happy to hear Brian is cast-free and hope his recovery to walking and NOT jumping will go smoothly.

Naturally, we love your layouts and cards. We all probably just thought that went without saying. If I can only pick one reason I visit your blog, it is for the stories. The layouts are just icing on the cake.

The poll was hard because what would your stories be without your photography? And creativity? But I still had to pick stories. Because yer a darn good story teller.

Was there an "all of the above" category? Because that would be me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this LO! And believe it or not, I have that alphabet and really like it. But I'm a mix it up kind of girl, anyway. : )

You are an awesome storyteller, and that's why I come. I love your layouts and cards as well. In fact, I can pick them out on the TT display walls at vendor fairs.
Keep up the good work.

1.4% found you via random google search and 1.8% are your mother? I think someone's stuffing the ballot box. I will remain in contact regarding this issue. In the meantime, please review the basics on statistical error calculations at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Margin_of_error
