this year I'll do the summary
Sixteen Years
Four Children
(1 miscarriage)
One completed term of military service
(we still have that old sea bag packed in the basement)
2 career moves
(his first one blended right into the next one)
4 addresses
(five - if you count the odd period between getting out of the service and finding a new home and work)
I can't remember how many vehicles
there was that blue Cavalier that I got ripped off on
and that old tan Taurus that Pa bought from cousin Charlie
a blue and grey van that died a sudden death
we've had a few deals on wheels
and lots of debt
but we're clawing our way out
together

eta: I also have to say that I'm always amazed at the amount of anniversary posts that spring up on the blogs this time of the year - more popular than summer, for weddings.

Happy Anniversary, Sharyn! Our 17th anniversary was on the 14th. Now I'm confused. I thought you got married the same year as me and Carla. I have a picture around here somewhere of you, me and Deanna showing off our engagement rings at Carla's wedding. Did you have a long engagement? Or am I going to have to go digging thru old pics? hmmm.
