Plantar Fasciitis Inserts

Plantar Fasciitis is tough and very painful. Shoe inserts are a very good idea although a good pair of Haflingers or Kumfs with a cork footbed is probably better.

You should also wear a night splint to bed or if you're sitting for long periods to keep your foot from cramping up overnight so you don't get that nasty heel pain in the morning.

And in case your doctor didn't tell you this, you should do the foot stretches three times a day. Take a quick look at the stretch on our website. It was developed for plantar fasciitis specifically and was found to cure it in 3-6 months.

And don't let them push you into surgery. That is a last ditch, desperate measure, not a "if it's not gone in two weeks" treatment.

I have Plantar fasciitis, too! In. both. feet!!! It will get better...do the stretches and get the Strausburg sock and sleep in it! It really helped me. Wearing the right shoes really does help...no more cheap shoes! Mine came from working out and running in older shoes without proper support...now I have really good running shoes and I get new ones every 3-6 months, seriously, that makes a difference! Hang in there!

I have had severe cases of plantar fasciitis after a couple of my pregnancies - I was limping around it was so painful. I found the most relief from massage - someone who will go in there and dig - to break up the ball of tendons/muscles/whatever it is in there. My sister Anne worked wonders, and also showed me a way to sit a push my elbow into the bottom of my foot. I SWEAR by my Birkenstocks for keeping my feet and back in good operating condition - they are well worth thier ~$100 price tag. I wear them everyday all day long.
