this reminds me of my brother and i. we are 2.5 years apart and he would always come home relatively tidy and i would be filthy. he played with stuff and i played in stuff. i laugh too bc i was in kindergarten the first time i saw snow (in florida). we were making a snowman on the hood of the car and i cried when i touched it.

When we did our gingerbread houses, I too saw fun little personality traits coming out. I always get the giggles with the kids that jam as much candy as possible onto their house, knowing full well....the more to eat later.

ask about stress fractures. they do not show up on xray but do on MRI....
and check out this too

hope it helps....wish I was working tomorrow so I could ask one of our pedi ortho's what they think....

I was floored to read your cousin's daughter is called Dinah--that's what I named my oldest and haven't "met" another one until now. What's your Dinah's middle name? Ours is Wynne--for my Mother. Hope Wendy's foot gets a diagnosis and some help! Pain is no fun at any time. xxKaren

I am totally with Mark! Messy! And Ted takes after me.

I hope you find a doctor who will not only treat the symptoms for Wendy, but will find out exactly what is causing her condition. It is almost as painful (and many times more so) for the parents when our child is sick or injured. I'll be thinking of you today. And as for your boys - Oh boy, do I know what you mean when you see your children make things or do things that remind you so much of yourself! It really is a good feeling.
