Gooooooooooooooooooood Morning! :)
Welcome to the first ever Technique Tuesday blog hop!
What this blog hop does, is link you from one creative stamper's blog to the next (some of them are fellow stamping techs and others are very creative stampers who were invited to join in) in a circle where you'll see all kinds of crazy-talented usage of Technique Tuesday stamps! The hop begins on Teri's blog, where she has the complete list of links for the hop in case you get lost along the way. Pretty cool, huh? But wait - it gets better! With every comment you leave along this blog hop, you'll be entered to win this set of stamps from Technique Tuesday.
Teri will pick one person at random from all the comments made by midnight Eastern time on 1/24 to win the stamp set. So the more comments you make, the better chance you have to win.
Be sure to check Teri’s blog on 1/25 to see if you are the lucky winner. (I'll remind you - don't worry)
This set of stamps just happens to be the set I used to make one of my favorite layouts .....
The next stop on this hop is Tanis's blog
I've been enjoying a bit of creative time this week so I thought I'd share both a card and a layout, as I enjoying making both pretty equally. Here's a quick little miss you card made using the Start Me Up Main Street Set. I used the Versamark ink pad to stamp the background. One of my favorite things to do when stamping is just add a little bit of subtle, and create my own background papers.
I also made a fresh new layout. The ink is still wet on this one. Okay, not really, I used my VersaFine inks, and those dry quickly. I mixed a few sets here - Loving Words, Bijou Borders and Casablanca.
Our dad's still been feeling under the weather over here, so I guess that makes me a little sentimental. I had done a layout before about how thankful we are that his thyroid condition was diagnosed when it was, and how grateful we are that it was in God's plan to keep him around with and for us for awhile yet. Yeah, I get sappy every now and then. It's just understood.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to leave a comment for a chance to win a stamp set! And don't forget to hop over to Tanis's blog next for some more creativity!
