I feel like someone is creeping into my house at night and stealing my hours.
I feel like since all my kids went to school full time - when I thought I'd finally feel like I have more hours, I have LESS. What's up with that.
Somebody is thieving my hours.
busy busy.
- Every Monday morning I write a note for Mark's speech teacher giving her some idea of what we did over the weekend/break so she has conversation triggers for Mark, who otherwise tends to forget what goes on from day to day. When I sat down and wrote yesterday's note, I felt exhausted afterwards. Sheesh,
- I brought Brian in for a physical last week. He's my boy with multiple aches and pains. On Friday I'll be bringing him back to the doctor he went to when he broke his femur five years ago. blah. Turns out some of his aches could be from several small tissue calcifications in the soft tissue around the muscle where he had his break. Not sure what all that involves right now, but it does help explain some of his aches for the time being. The bloodwork hasn't revealed anything else going on (he was tested for arthritis, thyroid, autoimmune stuff, etc...)
- Wendy and I went to Ikea on Saturday and I purchased a few things that I planned to put together yesterday morning. And then work called and said that I either work 5 hours, or nothing - rather than my planned 2 hour shift. I teased her afterwards that that didn't make a lick of sense, since they still needed someone for the 2 hour shift, but at the time I was all, well....guess I gotta work the five plus hours cuz momma wants a new camera and it ain't gonna happen on nothing. So I scrambled and went to work, leaving the mile high piles of laundry to fend for themselves.
- They don't fend to themselves too well.
- Mark started baseball last night. He's not a fan of being at bat, but he loves the outfield. Brian opted not to play this year but is excited and counting the days until soccer starts. I'm crossing my fingers that Friday's visit to the leg doctor doesn't mess with his countdown.
- We've got a kid graduating in less than 2 months and I still have to take his senior photo for his invite.
- And I still have to make his invites.
- (someone is stealing my hours)
- Wendy's first volleyball games are this week - with an empty hour between games. Like I have time for that.
- We picked up a 1/4 cow and a half pig last night to fill up our freezer. Greg has a connection at work and we Love our farm fresh protein.
- And I love a full freezer for meal planning.
- I did squeeze in three trips to the gym last week.
- This morning is running away from me......
- time to fly.
- Happy Tuesday
- be good.
