Well.
The original plan was that Greg would take Thursday AND Friday off work, but the boss nixed Thursday. That set us back a bit.
Friday was the promised field trip with Mark to the farm, so work on the floor didn't begin until after 2. He was also getting calls during this time that he may have to work the weekend in the office, and may have to travel again.
We're not going to know how to behave when we ever reach retirement age.
Wendy and I went to Friday evening fall services - the boys stayed home. There was just no way around it.
He wasn't able to finish the job Friday night, but we caught a break in that he did keep Saturday off. He put that last board in at 11;54 am. The chairs and couch are back in place, but I do hope to paint this week so everything else is still in the hallway and kitchen.
Although I work full shifts Monday and Tuesday and Greg is going to Kentucky again this afternoon - so we'll see how this works out in reality.
I spent my Saturday hanging clothes on the line and catching up on paperwork, while Wendy spent her morning earning her babysitting stripes. She agreed to babysit for three boys that blended well with our boys, if she could do so at home with me for back up. She was fun to watch. She played tag, basketball, mad libs, Legos...etc. She even took care of an injury all on her own.
Now to send her to the Red Cross babysitting class and she'll be good to go.
She and I crashed last night - her with a sore/twisted ankle and me out of sheer exhaustion. The boys went to church.
Now it's time to wake everyone up to get moving this morning.
Happy Sunday.
be good.
